Consumer Brand marketing lead for the McCormick India team – will play a pivotal role in identifying high potential ideas to build the consumer business in India for Domestic, and exports sales – grounded on relevant consumer and category insights and trends. Will also have overall ownership to lead the idea qualification (working in collaboration with the Insights team), prepare launch plan (with multi-functional team collaboration), and build the Marketing execution launch plan – to help achieve agreed brand equity, sales and profit objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Development, evaluation, and qualification of new business ideas for McCormick India consumer business
 
Ongoing – Manage the development and execution of comprehensive annual brand plans in line with consumer division roadmap, brand strategy and consumer insights. Make course corrections as needed.

 

Develop overall commercial & business case for the qualified launch ideas for India consumer business. 

 

Lead Brand innovation (NPL and NPD) for the McCormick portfolio of brands /products while collaborating closely with the Insights team, Commercialization manager (process manager), R&D, Sales, Finance and other cross functional teams as needed.

 

Build the commercial launch plan for aligned ideas:

 

Ongoing: Lead the content development and execution of geo-targeted digital marketing and e-commerce – strategy and execution to support brand launch strategies. Working in collaboration with Trade/ commercial team, culinary and agency partners.

•    Manage and report McCormick owned digital experience and engaging all consumers in the digital space. 
•    Paid media execution such as FB, IG, Google, Programmatic Media, Influencers, Ecommerce media to drive the most effective and efficient results
•    Manage creating always on content / conversation calendars for owned digital properties while ensuring trend and brand integration. Manage maintenance and optimization of MCK ISEA owned sites, utilizing and coordinating with the Global Digital Team as required. 
•    Ensure McCormick products’ digital shelf are optimized on third-party eCommerce sites.
•    Lead the creation and production of always on visual assets and copy for MCK ISEA owned digital properties.
•    Work closely with Customer Service to provide excellence in community care to online platforms.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or Business. MBA preferred.

5+ years consumer products marketing experience, preferably FMCG, in Marketing function. Prior experience working with MNC and on premium / imported brands / categories preferable.

 

Interpersonal Skills

Strong communication skills (with excellent verbal and oral English), teamwork, co-operation and mutually respectful relationship development skills.
Self motivated, action-focused, possess initiative, flexible, adapatable, be positive to overcome obstacles.

Key relationships with sales, supply chain, product development, finance and external customers & agencies
