Primary Purpose
As part of North American Supply Planning organization, this Supply Chain Manager will lead a team of supply chain analysts - supporting Supply Planning, Inventory, and Demand Planning - in a high value location, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations through data analysis, strategic planning, and process improvement. This role is critical in ensuring that our supply chain functions are optimized and aligned with the company’s overall goals.This leader will support talent selection, onboarding, and performance management across the analyst team location in the high value location. This leader will work with the Americas based team to ensure business objectives are being met for the function and can additionally take on supply planning and IBP activities as needed to support the team priorities.
Key Role & Responsibility
- Oversee, develop, coach and mentor a team of supply chain analysts; fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and quality of supply chain operations and make data-driven decisions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s objectives and enhance operational efficiency. Working with the Americas Team to ensure objectives and strategies are met.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Education & Expereience
MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field required with 8+ years experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Service or a relate field required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, problem solve and resolve complex issues required.
Demonstrated success leading and championing substantive business plan recommendations for senior divisional leadership required.
Ability to manage larger projects and/or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using advanced influencing & leadership skills required.
Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills required.
Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, Word, and ERP (ex: SAP), ECC, APO required; MS Access preferred.
Will have supervisory responsibility and/or provide formal technical support, guidance and mentoring to new Supply Planners or Analysts.
