We are looking to hire a Sales Analyst immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our India location.
Primary Purpose of Role:
The HQ Category Analyst plays a critical role in delivering data-driven insights and reporting that support strategic decision-making across our portfolio of categories. This role partners closely with the HQ Category Manager (Specialty Categories) to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive performance across merchandising, assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotional activities. Operating within a remote work environment, the analyst must demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and self-management skills to effectively integrate with cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, business acumen, and the ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making at the HQ level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintatin, and publish standardized reports on a weekly and monthly cadence to ensure consistent performance tracking across the category portfolio.
- Manage, attribute and hierarchy updates to maintain data integrity and enable accurate reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain business scorecards for key category initiatives, provings clear commentary on performance drivers including merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving.
- Support the HQ Category Manager (Specialty Categories) by delivering insights on distribution trends, merchandising effectiveness, and promotional activity to inform strategic planning and execution.
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate insights, recommendations, and business performance to internal stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or closely related field
- 1-5 years of business analytics experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Ability to work well in a team environment. Successfully integrate into a remote work environment, demonstrating strong virtual collaboration, proactive communication and the ability to manage priorities independently.
- Must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, project a professional image, and interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Candidate should be comfortable for working in US Shifts ( night shift)
