Position Overview -
- The Senior Financial Analyst FP&A provides complex and insightful financial analysis and reporting.
- This role will support Leo and IT finance and the business partner’s understanding of actual performance, financial forecasts, and the annual planning processes (budget).
- The analyst will assist in reporting, preparation of quarterly review materials, and assist in forecast and budget development.
Key Responsibilities -
- Works collaboratively with the FP&A, IT, and Leo Project teams on forecast and Budget consolidation, reporting and presentations. This includes identifying variance explanations and explaining gaps to targets. - 40%
- Works collaboratively with the FP&A, IT, and Leo Project teams on month and quarter end actuals reporting and presentations. This includes identifying variance explanations and explaining key drivers of actual performance versus forecast and prior year. - 40%
- Works with the FP&A team on reporting and projects to advance and improve forecasting and planning processes through process redesign and technology improvements. - 20%
Required Qualifications -
Level of Education and Discipline - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (or related)
Experience -
- 5+ years finance experience with a minimum of 3+ years financial planning / analysis, commercial / sales finance or accounting experience required.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of financial and analytical techniques required.
Interpersonal Skills -
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Good communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange complicated or sensitive information.
- Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and financial analysis.
