We are looking to hire a Product/Brand Manager immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD or Geneva, IL.

The Product (Brand) Manager responsibilities include strategic design as well as execution of sales enablement initiatives to support Beverage & Health business unit growth, business development, and other related activities to support meeting sales and profit objectives (including tradeshows and industry events.) This role will translate consumer and market insights into customer-facing engagement enablers.

 

Responsiblities

  • Identify and implement growth initiatives and segment trend forecasting
  • Design and develop proactive flavor marketing platform tools and campaigns
  • Support development of customer revenue cycle for key segments
  • Support Demo Ideation with Technical team
  • Provide strategic and tactical coordination with internal partners such as sales, global marketing, culinary, and sensory, as well as potential external vendors
  • Develop compelling customer communication (story building and telling) that connects market and consumer data to the customer and relevant solutions and generate sales pipeline growth.
  • Present to customers and key internal stakeholders

 

Qualifications

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline

 

  • Demonstrated relevant skills and experiences (3-5 years) in CPG, Food or Beverage industries, ingredient or food service marketing, or related field.
  • Experience includes project leadership, strategic thinking, communication, teamwork, project leadership, using syndicated databases, event planning, graphic design/digital design and telling compelling stories through the planning, researching, designing, and presenting visually appealing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Affinity to Food & Beverage space.  
  • Strong project leadership experience with ability to manage multiple projects.  
  • Sound understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing (functional expert) and a basic knowledge in other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Deep understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscape.
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and convince others (internal and external); often customer-facing; interactions with senior leadership. 
  • Leads projects that support both Marketing and Sales objectives under tight timelines with competing priorities. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Up to 25% up travel required

Base Salary: $87,910 - $153,870.

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
