Position: Global Senior Brand Manager
Based: Haddenham, UK
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Global Senior Brand Manager – Herbs, Spices and Extracts, will be responsible for leading global initiatives and working with all international markets to accelerate the growth of Herbs, Spices and Extracts brands. This includes gathering and analyzing data, identifying global consumer insights, competitive analysis, and identifying and securing claims. This role will also support branding work, which includes brand positioning work and brand books.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages communication and relationships with global markets
- Provides support to the regions by problem solving issues and getting cross-functional resources
- Gathers and summarizes consumer insights, in collaboration with the markets to develop plans to achieve revenue goals
- Creates new tools and processes to improve communication across markets
- Provides information and slides for key presentations (CAGNY, BOD, quarterly updates, etc)
- Supports Global Marketing Director in brand tool creation in collaboration with business leads, including brand positioning tools updates, brand books and style guides
- Identifies and secures global claims using Euromonitor and other information data bases
- Analyzes and consolidates information from the global markets and develop recommendations and best practices
- Serves as a liaison cross-functionally and across markets for product development, quality, finance and legal
- Creates and delivers presentations across regions and to upper management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- Combined minimum of 5+ years Marketing experience
- Demonstrated relevant skills & results in consumer packaged goods marketing, forecasting,advertising, market research, consumer & trade promotion, P&L management and business planning
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional team. Experience presenting to upper management
- Experience formulating strong brand strategies, business analysis, KPI development, plan implementations
- Expertise in syndicated databases, market research, business and brand planning, finance and communications
- Highly skilled in power point and excel
- Strong personal and team leadership; effective influencer to upper management and peers
- Able to be excellent at strategic thinking while being action oriented
- Entrepreneurial spirit: optimistic, natural owner, proactive, able to adapt and create new processes, empirically creative, ability to manage multiple projects
- Outstanding written and verbal communication (clear and concise), able to interact with multiple personalities and multiple cultures
- Fast and autonomous learner that can manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail, highly organized and excellent follow through
