At McCormick, we bring the joy of flavour to life every day. As Junior Licensing Manager, you will help shape the next chapter of some of our most iconic flavour brands across EMEA, including Frank’s RedHot, Cholula, Schwartz, Ducros and Vahiné.

In this role, you will support the growth of brand partnerships and licensing programmes that bring our much-loved brands into new categories, channels and consumer moments, with a particular focus on the UK and France. Working closely with the Licensing Lead, you will help turn strong brand equity into commercially successful licensing opportunities through market insight, partner support, performance tracking, royalty and sales reporting, and cross-functional project coordination from concept through launch.

 

Key Responsibilities

As Junior Licensing Manager, you will:

  • Conduct quarterly market, category, competitor and partner research to identify licensing and partnership opportunities across EMEA.
  • Support the development of licensing opportunities that extend McCormick’s portfolio of brands into complementary categories, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, consumer needs, category strategy and regional growth priorities.
  • Support day-to-day licensee and partner management across EMEA, with a focus on the UK and France.
  • Work across brands including Frank’s RedHot, Cholula, Schwartz, Ducros and Vahiné.
  • Support the Licensing Lead with annual strategic planning, opportunity assessment and performance reviews.
  • Own and maintain licensing asset libraries, including product visuals, packaging files, marketing materials, in-store visuals, trade advertising, approval records and project documentation.
  • Manage licensing database updates, including royalty reports, sales data, invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Prepare regular commercial performance updates, highlighting sales, royalties, risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal cross-functional licensing projects from concept through launch, managing timelines, actions, documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Support internal approval processes and help ensure key project milestones are delivered on time.
  • Support the creation of targeted presentations and commercial materials to pitch licensing programmes to prospective partners, retailers and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand guardian for McCormick brands within licensed categories, ensuring licensed products are aligned with brand positioning and strategy.

 

Candidate profile

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review market trends, identify insights and translate data into clear actions.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach, with experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver shared objectives.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership of workstreams.
  • Motivated by delivery, results and continuous improvement.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in FMCG, marketing, brand management, licensing or partnerships would be beneficial.
  • Experience working across EMEA markets, particularly beyond the UK, would be advantageous.
  • French language skills would be highly beneficial, particularly to support the French licensing business.
  • A consumer-centric mindset, with the ability to keep consumer needs at the heart of decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with external partners and representing McCormick brands.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and deliver projects on time.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify new growth opportunities while remaining aligned to brand strategy.
