We are looking to hire a IBP Sr Manager in a Full-time capacity for our site in Cuautitlán, Estado de México. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:
The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager is a senior leadership role within an organization responsible for overseeing the tactical planning processes and alignment of sales, operations, and supply chain functions. Ensures demand & supply planning, IBP implementation processes through an empowered, connected and committed team. The Manager's activities are pivotal in ensuring that the company's resources and operations are aligned with market demand and business goals. They drive the IBP process to be a tactical and dynamic tool for achieving improved customer service, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership for the planning and IBP process, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and alignment. They champion the process within the organization, ensuring that it is seen as a critical tool for achieving business goals.
  • Leads the development of the IBP strategy, aligning it with the company's business objectives, financial targets, and market dynamics. This includes setting long-term goals and defining the roadmap for the IBP process.
  • Collaborates with sales and marketing teams, the IBP Manager oversees demand forecasting, ensuring that the organization has accurate and up-to-date demand projections. They analyze market trends, customer data, and historical sales to make informed forecasts.
  • Coordinates with operations teams to manage production and inventory levels. This includes optimizing production schedules, ensuring sufficient inventory to meet demand, and identifying potential bottlenecks in the supply chain.
  • Uses data analytics and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and production. Tracks the progress of the IBP process and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creates and leads the applicable meetings to ensure aligning and the proper decision making within the cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures that the IBP plan aligns with the financial objectives of the company. This includes managing budgets, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Works with teams to develop and evaluate various scenarios to address potential challenges and opportunities, such as changing market conditions, supply chain disruptions, or new product launches.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement within the IBP process and drive initiatives to enhance its effectiveness. This may involve implementing new technology, refining workflows, or optimizing supply chain strategies.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks that can impact the IBP process, and, by extension, the organization's performance is a key responsibility. 
  • Manages a team of professionals responsible for various aspects of the IBP process.

 

Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, engineering, business administration, operations management, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is desirable.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in positions within demand and supply chain planning and IBP leadership, including Sr. Manager or Director in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Planning.
    5+ years of leadership and people management experience. 
  • Prior experience in senior roles, such as a manager or director.
  • CPG/B2B industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics, food industry desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of the S&OP/IBP process and methodologies, as well as experience implementing or improving IBP processes within an organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for coordinating between different departments and stakeholders, presenting IBP plans, and influencing decision-makers.
  • Ability to work with external consultants.
  • Advanced analytical skills to leverage data in the decision making process.
  • Strategic mindset to align the company's sales and operational activities with its overall business objectives. 
  • Strong Project and Change Management Skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset an ability to influence and drive transformation within our processes and people.
  • Collaborative approach leveraging cross-functional team inputs.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and supply planning software tools (SAP, Oracle, JDA, Anaplan, etc.) to lead planners in its maximum usage.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity in ERP systems and other data analysis software e.g., Power BI.
  • Spanish and English fluency required (spoken and written).
