We are looking to hire a Pricing Analyst in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Mexico City. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for creating pricing for new items and reviewing prices and costs for existing items and customers. This position is also responsible for communicating with the Sales Team, Procurement, and Product Development on the drivers of changing costs and pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executes daily activities required to achieve financial objectives through effective pricing of McCormick’s flavor products.
- Consults with Account Managers, Commercialization teams, Procurement, Operations Finance, and Technical Innovation Center regarding price requests.
- Develops product/portfolio cost and pricing assumptions in accordance with Finance procedures.
- Prepares periodic customer portfolio reviews by analyzing the following information: raw material costs, commodity cost drivers, conversion costs, packaging materials, volume changes, and plant locations.
- Supports business unit efforts to optimize costs.
- Other ad hoc financial analysis and requests as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related.
- 2+ years of Accounting or Financial analysis experience.
- Prior pricing or commercial experience, desirable.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the capabilities of transaction & reporting systems (ERP).
- Understands available reporting, drill down capabilities, and able to organize data in a way that adds value to analysis.
- Understands P&L analysis (revenue through gross profit) and management.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and basic proficiency in Word and Power Point.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Self-management of own workload – capability to plan work and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Self-starter and proactive in initiating action steps.
- Advanced / fluent English (spoken & written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, and Business Warehouse.
- Experience in manufacturing environment or other supply chain/costing area.
- Experience participating on projects supporting Finance initiatives within the business.
- Experience in the creation and development or Dashboards in Data Visualization tools (ie. Power BI, Tableau).
