Position Overview:

This role is designed for a dynamic, results-driven sales professional focused on generating new business opportunities and driving sustainable growth across Brazil and the South LATAM region. This role will lead market expansion efforts, identify emerging opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term strategic partnerships. Acting as a growth catalyst, this position combines commercial acumen, relationship-building, and strategic execution to accelerate McCormick’s presence in the Snacks and broader Food segments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Growth Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of a robust new business pipeline focused on high-potential customers.
  • Design and implement entry strategies that deliver measurable growth in revenue, volume, and profitability.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers and potential partners to expand McCormick’s footprint.
  • Serve as the primary commercial interface between McCormick, broker and operational networks and prospective customers, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Promote collaboration across internal functions—Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance—to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer and market demands.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Food Engineering, Business or industry related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales or account management positions in food industry (ingredients/additives/flavors/seasonings) or food related industries. (B2C and/or B2B).
  • Experience with CRM tool required, Salesforce preferred.
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience required, Power BI preferred.
  • Experience working with other countries in LATAM besides Brazil, preferred.
  • Availability for travel within Brazil & South LATAM Region.
  • Strategic influence across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication and storytelling abilities to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability in fast-paced, competitive markets.
  • Collaborative leadership style fostering alignment and excellence in execution.
  • Cultural agility and understanding of diverse market dynamics across Brazil and LATAM.
  • Profesional English required (spoken and written), Spanish preferred.
