We are looking to hire a Sr Finance Analyst in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Mexico City. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:

The position will be responsible for the financial administration of prices and costs, plant controlling, financial planning for business insights and the financial evaluation for investment and improvement projects for all the business units in Latin America through the effective management of work teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the activities of month, quarter and annual closing of costs and prices, financial planning, plant control, improvement projects for Latin American business units.
  • Support in price negotiations for all customers in Latin America.
  • Review and supervision of the processes of forecast, budget and long-term economic plans.
  • Validation and support of improvement projects.
  • Review and authorization of capital asset action plans.
  • Validation and tracking of cost optimization projects.
  • Support and review of investment projects.
  • Review and authorization of impacts on sales prices and impacts on purchases prices through PowerApps workflows.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, or similar career with experience below.
  • 6+ years financial analysis experience; knowledge of financial accounting standards and MEX GAAP.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with standard cost system and/or supply chain finance, desirable.
  • Systems experience in Excel, and SAP/ERP.
  • TM1 system experience, desirable.
  • Good knowledge and experience in technical activities and procedures to perform duties of forecasting and budget control.
  • Advanced-fluent English (spoken & written).
  • Ability to work independently and apply judgement.
  • Able to work across functions, see from others points of views.
  • Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines and work under pressure and ask for help with prioritization when needed.
  • Operates and communicates effectively across multiple functions.
  • Interacts on a regular basis with Sales Team and Supply Chain Finance.
  • Strong analytical, communication and organization skills.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques.
  • Ability to plan own work and respect deadlines.
  • Customer service focus.
