We are looking to hire a Supply Planning Lead in a Hybrid (60/40) capacity for our site in Mexico City. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Job Description

Oversee the entire supply planning process, ensuring coordination between demand, production capacity, material availability, and inventory levels to meet customer service levels at the lowest total cost.The planning manager is responsible for consolidating the supply plan for the IBP/S&OP process, coordinating the production planning, detailed scheduling, materials planning, and inventory planning teams.This role ensures that the organization has a viable, transparent supply plan that is aligned with the company’s financial and operational objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Supply Planning process

  • Consolidate the integrated Supply Plan to support demand.
  • Ensure alignment between:
    • Demand
    • production capacity
    • inventories
    • material availability.
    • Identify variances and lead improvement plans

2. Lead the Supply Review within the IBP

Responsible for preparing and facilitating the monthly Supply Review.

Activities:

•    Consolidate capacity constraints.

•    Identify supply risks.

•    Evaluate capacity, inventory, or outsourcing scenarios.

•    Present recommendations to the executive IBP/S&OP process.

3. Supply Plan Performance Management

Monitor key supply chain indicators:

•    Service Level

•    Inventory Turns

•    SLOB

•    Plan Attainment

•    Capacity Utilization

Identify variances and lead improvement plans

4. Cross-functional Coordination

Serve as the point of integration between:

•    Demand Planning

•    Operations / Production

•    Procurement

•    Logistics / Distribution

•    Finance

•    Sales

5. Inventory Optimization

Lead strategies for:

•    inventory reduction

•    SLOB reduction

•    coverage optimization

•    working capital improvement.

6. Planning Team Development

Responsible for the development and alignment of the team:

•    Production Planner

•    Detailed Scheduler

•    Raw Material Planner

  • Inventory / DRP Planner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning and leading teams
  • Professional English (Advanced) – Required (Will be assessed during the process)
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP planning modules, ASCM (CPIM o CSCP) IBP/S&OP, MPS, MRP, RCCP (Required)
