We are looking to hire an Associate Food Stylist immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The Associate Food Stylist will assist in organizing, planning, and preparing food for the McCormick internal content production studio, which services McCormick’s entire family of brands, from McCormick spice to Thai Kitchen and French’s Mustard. This includes maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ordering, and preparing food for set, and tracking monthly studio kitchen expenses. These efforts will significantly increase studio productivity and efficiency to create content that enhances knowledge of McCormick’s products, quality story, Passion for Flavor, and leading position as a global flavor company.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Food Stylist with organization and preparation of food for set.
  • Content Studio Grocery Shopping and sourcing, placing day-to-day orders. Organizing and cleaning kitchen.
  • Organize McCormick branded products for filming and photoshoots (making sure they are properly labeled, clean, and free of marks and scratches).
  • Record Keeping of grocery expenses.
  • Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly cleaning procedures, including washing and putting away dishes, wiping down countertops, appliances, and storage areas, disposing of superfluous equipment and ingredients, as well as other cleaning tasks as they arise.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in Culinary Arts
  • 2 years experience working in a professional kitchen
  • Proficiency in culinary techniques and cooking abilities.
  • Good understanding of kitchen and food safety
  • Ability to read and follow instructions on formula / recipe or procedure.
  • Good communication skills to include written and verbal.
  • Must be organized, observant and detail oriented.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite.
  • Must have reliable transportation to shop for groceries as needed.
  • Experience working with a Food Stylist (preferred)
