McCormick & Company, Inc., a global leader in the spice, flavor, and seasonings industry, is seeking a full-time Associate Product Manager III.  This new hire will work in  our Global Headquarters located at 24 Schilling Road  in Hunt Valley, MD. The Associate Product Manager III will report to a Sr. Marketing Manager.

The Associate Product Manager III will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans that support sales volume and profit objectives for the Branded Flavor Solutions Condiment business. This role has primary ownership of the profitability, promotion, pricing, packaging, and new product plans for the defined category segment. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Marketing, Commercialization, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Development and Marketing Excellence to execute growth-driving plans.




  • Demonstrated Capability in development and execution of plans that address key issues and opportunities for the segment.
  • Executing promotional calendars consistent with marketing plans.
  • Participating in leading divisional themed events and management of product life-cycle.
  • Providing analyses and recommendations relating to product offering and pricing
  • Monitoring effectiveness of new item distribution and making recommendations for improvement when appropriate.
  • Independently leading cross functional teams (project management)
  • Coordinating and monitoring effectiveness of promotional spending by event.
  • Developing and managing brand budget with guidance from the Marketing Manager
  • Understands competitive brand issues and proves action plans to address threats.
  • Exercises discretion regarding data and sources, analytical conclusions, and smaller strategic recommendations across multiple segments.



  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • Demonstrated excellent results in Marketing or closely related field.
  • Experience with ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams required
  • Demonstrated success leading and championing business plan recommendations for senior management
  • Demonstrated capability in understanding of Marketing procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of the same in Sales
  • Understanding of how Marketing interacts and integrates with others in accomplishing objectives.
  • Required business acumen that goes beyond Marketing. Good understanding of syndicated data analysis, financial analysis, and business planning,
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with bias for action.
  • Good written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel



  • MBA
  • Food industry experience
