We are looking to hire an Associate Product (Brand) Manager supporting Ingredients (Herbs & Spices). This is a Hybrid (50/50) capacity role at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

As part of the US Flavor Solutions Food Business Unit, this Associate Product (Brand) Manager will primarily lead business activities for our Ingredients product line to achieve business goals. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to partner effectively with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Commercialization, and R&D. The ideal candidate is highly organized, intellectually curious, and capable of managing multiple priorities while influencing stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities of this position include implementing business plans for the Ingredients (Herbs & Spices) portfolio to support sales, volume, and profit objectives:
- Provide analysis and recommendations related to portfolio performance, product offerings, pricing strategy, customer opportunities, and business results.
- Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, and Pricing teams to support customer opportunities, including code matching, RFP evaluation, product selection, and commercialization recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and build strong partnerships across Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercialization, Demand Planning, and R&D to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor customer needs, commodity markets, industry trends, and competitive activity to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable business recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of key commodity markets, including cost drivers, supply dynamics, market trends, and financial implications, and communicate business impacts to stakeholders.
- Support forecasting, portfolio planning, business case development, pricing strategy, financial forecasting, and P&L analysis to inform business decisions.
- Develop and communicate business updates, performance analyses, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Create customer-facing presentations, value propositions, and business recommendations that support commercial growth and customer engagement.
- Build, shape, and deliver new product and portfolio propositions in partnership with cross-functional subject matter experts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in marketing, business management, product management, sales, finance, procurement, or a related field; CPG experience preferred.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with Excel, financial analysis, business planning, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect commodity market dynamics to customer, pricing, and portfolio decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence cross-functional teams, and drive results without direct authority.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a bias for action.
- Experience presenting recommendations to business leaders and customers.
- Consumer products and/or ingredients industry experience preferred.

Base Salary: 63,500 - 108,000 (range potential, not hiring range)
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
