We are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Relationship Manager  immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview: 

 

This position acts as the primary liaison to NA Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain business partners and uses in-depth knowledge of our customers, processes, and systems to facilitate the optimization of business unit performance by enhancing the alignment between commercial relationships and strategies with Accounts Receivable business processes. The Accounts Receivable Relationship Manager is responsible for leading a team of Accounts Receivable Relationship Leads that work with NA business unit partners and translate business needs and objectives into solutions and then coordinates with the NA Accounts Receivable delivery team to implement the business needs within the systems and processes utilized by the team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Team Leadership - Leads a team of Accounts Receivable Relationship Leads while also informally leading Accounts Receivable Financial Analysts and Deduction Analysts to implement business unit solutions. Utilizes coaching and facilitation skills to manage employee relations. Provides regular performance feedback and oversees development/training plans for individuals within the team. Actively uses performance and development tools to document and facilitate improvement/recognition discussions. Rewards and recognizes performance achievements. Removes barriers that prevent the team from achieving goals
  • Business/Operations Leadership, Analysis & Support - Manages all aspects of AR critical process activities located in Hunt Valley. Works closely with NA O2C Director and NA AR Managers to present critical month-end risks, opportunities, and communicate potential solutions to business unit partners. First point of contact for NA AR issue resolution - drives appropriate and timely action to mitigate risk or otherwise prepare the organization for the impact. Takes leadership role in monitoring KPIs, month end reporting, and Visual Management meetings
  • Works closely with NA O2C Director to define relationship strategies for internal and external customers. Implements identified relationship strategies resulting in building and maintaining strong relationships while providing value.
  • Process Adherence & Process Improvement - Partner with NA O2C Director and NA AR Managers to ensure alignment of processes and strategies, while optimizing, standardizing and innovating end to end processes that drive regional efficiency and support business unit growth.
  • Project Management - Primary participant on cross functional strategic projects, supports business unit initiatives, AR lead for acquisitions and divestitures.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or Business Management
  • 8+ years of financial analysis, sales order to cash and/or general business experience
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point & Word required. SAP/BW/TM1 experience is desirable
  • Strong analytical, communication and organization skills required. Ability to assist in the development and implementation of strategies within the function that support and help grow NA business units.
  • Practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines.
  • Maintains knowledge of the McCormick businesses, it's processes and the industry in which it operates.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, complex projects.

Base Salary: $100,870 - $176,480


Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
