POSITION OVERVIEW
The Americas D&T Initiatives Senior manager is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and tailoring (for Global initiatives), governing, and executing high-impact procurement transformation initiatives across the Americas region. The role blends strategic program design with executional excellence, delivering sustainable business value through digital enablement, risk mitigation, supplier engagement, and procurement governance. It requires strong leadership across complex, cross-functional landscapes and close collaboration with global and regional executives. The role aims to partner with the Regional BPSE Head to make sure the Region maximizes the value of Global initiatives through implementation as well enable Region specific transformation initiatives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the regional executive lead for Procurement-led Continuous improvement & Transformation programs such as Derisk, Triforce deployment and KPI governance / gap action planning, journey to zero working capital action plans, inbound excellence insights & cost optimization deployment, Innovation / commercialization process readiness deployment, Procurement Playbooks and work process Improvement, Leo Championing, and others to be refined
  • Manage Supplier Relationship and Performance Management execution programs to ensure effective change management, enablement, and execution across Americas.
  • Drive adoption of holistic value creation approaches, including supplier segmentation, engagement frameworks, forecasting readiness and performance scorecards.
  • Ensure Procurement Next level roadmap initiatives are resourced & deployed within region
    Establish and lead Metrics that matter KPI automation and governance deployment within BUs, and enhance programs to improve supplier-readiness across the IBP process
    Additional programs to be identified, such as M&A liaison support, data & analytics automation roadmap, SWP program strategy execution & deployment, and others to be refined.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Purchasing/Business

7+ Years Strategic Procurement program delivery including Continuous improvement, SC JTE experience, and / or formal Project Management experience

Ability to think strategically, with a track record of program delivery
Strong business acumen, high personal integrity, common sense, analytical thinking, and Procurement knowledge
Experience working in a large and/or global procurement environment, including work with best-in-class processes, tools and procedures
Experience of interacting and influencing with senior leadership levels across the organization.
Experience and understanding of the global supply chain/procurement environment is a must.
Knowledge of leveraging best in class risk tools and understanding change management
Must have broad perspective on industry tools and creating business case models

Experience gathering and working with internal and external data, in both structured and unstructured formats.

Ability to work with structured and unstructured data

Able to identify improvement opportunities in business and category/ regional plans

Strong process orientation, including of understanding processes and core management activities, and ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
Able to manage virtual teams and develop capability in others through the roll out of specific programs and processes
Understands the business dynamics and business needs and is able to read between the lines to identify where and how they can be supported through the establishment of tools, models processes and outputs.

Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment to solve problems. 
Able to influence with and without authority in a full 360-degree spectrum across a broad range of global and regional stakeholders — from operational contributors to senior strategic leaders — to secure buy in and drive adoption of key programs and initiatives.
Able to communicate complex information to internal audiences, and able to embed information in an interactive, creative, insightful and thought-provoking way that is relevant and appropriate to the department and business needs. 
Able to bring creative and innovative thinking forwards in the creation of strategic solutions. along with an agile and change orientated mindset. Demonstrated organizational change management skills, preferably in procurement Ability to engage and excite others while driving change

Base Salary: $103,520 to $181,150

 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
