We are looking to hire an Associate Trade Marketing Manager immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This Associate Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for providing support in the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy for brand, shopper, and category initiatives. This position will provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders, including our sales and marketing teams and functional leadership. In addition, this role will work directly with customer-facing representatives and cross-functional peers in the analysis of opportunities and related forecasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Translating brand and market trends into actionable business observations and recommendations to achieve both McCormick and customer goals and objectives.
- Providing analysis and shopper insight-driven recommendations supporting our annual business plans include all key business drivers: merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS).
- Leveraging all available analytic tools to develop trade strategies maximizing McCormick's performance metrics.
- Provide insight and direction into the development of new item business plans and support the Commercial Review process by participating in the forecast development to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Developing collaborative cross-functional relationships with internal and customer-facing stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in business, Marketing, Management Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, finance, marketing, or business management
- Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience building fact-based presentations or direct selling experience to retailers
- Proven capability of working in a team environment
- Strong analytic skills, and demonstrated ability to translate insights pulled from large amounts of data into actionable business recommendations that deliver positive results
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and understand the data and then effectively communicate those insights to both internal and external audiences
- Ability to react quickly and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, self-motivated and team-oriented

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A minimum of 2 years of Category Management experience is strongly preferred
- Direct experience selling to retailers or distributors
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
