BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST II

This new hire will work in McCormick's Global Headquarters, located in Hunt Valley, MD. The Business Process Analyst II will report to a Continuous Improvement Manager II.

Position Overview

The primary responsibilities include data management, analysis, and reporting of business information in support of the  mission and objectives for the North Americas Distribution Network. The incumbent will perform daily, monthly and yearly tasks to collect, compile and report on key performance indicators and ensure timely and accurate reporting of the facility scorecard. The incumbent will create and develop interactive databases and spreadsheets to measure, track for accountablity for Process Reliability  Goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Integration of Scorecard systems and creating/supporting adhoc reports and tools involving big data/data analytics, systems integration (MS office, TrakSys, SAP) and troubleshooting.

• Management of the Master Monthly Scorecards & Plant Metrics involving aggregating and publishing data from multiple departments in the facilities and from Business Analysts across the Distribution Network

• Creates database systems and spreadsheet tools (Glidepaths, Daily and Monthly PR reports) to facilitate the Process Reliability goal-setting process for site and lines, in line with the Company Reliability standards, and creates interactive reporting tools that enable daily and monthly tracking and accountability for Reliability goals .

• Works with the FI Pillar of TPM to standardize processes, create Loss Trees, do process improvement work as needed and train to FI Pillar tools.

• Works cross functionally with Operations and Support teams to as a resource for verifying key data and performance reports.

• Provided lead technical and project support and training to Business Analysts across the Distribution Network

• Implementation of PR to new sites involving technical and process training and support

• Support goal-setting process for Master Scorecard metrics for non exempt appraisals

 

Required Qualifications

  • BSc in Mathematics, Business, Statistics, Accounting or related field required.

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in managing data and scorecards in a Product Supply Organization, detail oriented, self-motivated starter and strong analytical skills.
  • Applicants must have experience designing and maintaining large datasets using MS Excel and have experience using one of the following database engines: MS SQL, Access, Oracle, SAP DB2 or MSDE.
  • Experience integrating data between multiple systems and including SAP and desktop applications is essential. An understanding of client server architecture and experience with databases and MS office applications.
  • Must understand plant operations and metrics in order to supply relevant business context and data interpretation. Must understand how to build simulation models that enable managers to evaluate different scenarios.
