We are looking to hire an Brand Director - US Marketing immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Reporting to VP Marketing, the Brand Director – US Marketing will oversee all aspects of brand management, including strategic planning, P&L ownership, consumer and trade promotion, advertising, packaging innovation, pricing strategy, and new product development. This position plays a key leadership role in shaping the brand’s future and ensuring alignment with McCormick’s global growth strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage P&L and budgets of product groups (major revenue impact to Company).

Develop comprehensive annual brand plans and present to divisional leadership; lead transformation business change (e.g., Project Roll, H&W strategy).

Monitor execution of plans and make course corrections as needed.

Provide direction to key cross-functional partners such as research, sales, product development, manufacturing, quality, finance, legal, and advertising agencies.

Play a key strategic and tactical role in acquisitions and divestitures, product quality improvements, new product and line extension development, testing, cost reduction, promotions, advertising, and public relations.

Develop pricing strategy.

Lead development, engagement, and management of direct reports; mentor others.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing or a related role, preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry.

Proven track record in brand building, marketing strategy, forecasting, advertising, market research, consumer and trade promotion, P&L management, and business planning.

Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing teams; strong coaching, performance management, and talent development skills.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and project leadership with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Expertise in syndicated data analysis, market research, brand planning, advertising, finance, promotional activities, and consumer communications.

Deep understanding of marketing principles and practices, with solid knowledge of Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain functions.

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and business integration across functions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and agencies.

Demonstrated ability to provide strategic recommendations, interpret complex data, and make sound financial and business decisions.

Base Salary: $140,610-253,080
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
