We are looking to hire a North America Marketing & Ecommerce  Analytics Specialist immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The NA Consumer Marketing & Ecommerce  Analytics Specialist  will be responsible for leading business analytics for eCommerce and other unmeasured channels across McCormick’s consumer portfolio of brands. This role requires a unique blend of analytical and visualization prowess, business acumen, and technical expertise to drive data-driven decision-making and actionable insights. This role will work cross-functionally to design reporting capabilities that assess business KPIs and help provide actionable insights to their business partners. The successful candidate will be able to navigate syndicated data platforms, synthesize and harmonize data sources, and tell simple stories with complex data.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Unmeasured data sources (contracts, tools, training, support) for North America’s Consumer Division. Lead analytic projects specific to business area of responsibility with strong emphasis on identifying innovative analytic methods and approaches that promote deeper levels of analytical understanding; Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to acquire, organize, and manage data sets necessary for analysis.
  • Apply data science principles to synthesize disparate data sources to enable deeper and more valuable insight generation, consistency, and accuracy of reporting.
  • Establish a robust reporting structure that provides real-time results to internal stakeholders, harnessing data, and insights.
  • Provide ad hoc leadership support as part of the quarterly business review cycle. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, or related discipline
  • 3+ years in syndicated retail data analysis or equivalent combination
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with bias for action.  Must be capable of independent decision-making and leading multiple projects.
  • Must be able to collaborate with cross functional teams by having excellent oral and written communications skills.  Some interaction with Executive Leadership Team

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with E-Commerce Retail Channel
