Lead an assigned shift with overall responsibility of performance.  Ensure assigned area performs as expected by ensuring overall standards are maintained.  Crew Leader will provide coaching and development opportunities for team members, engage employees and encourage teamwork.
• Set the direction of shift team and ensure overall performance of the department to meet objectives for productivity, quality, safety, food safety, sanitation, GMPs, customer service and process reliability
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving activities.
• Ensure product meets compliance standards; ensure the necessary means and equipment are available, functional and safe.
• Investigate and communicate root cause failure analysis, including recommending and implementing resolutions.
• Provide daily updates to Team Managers and follow up on corrective action assignments.
• Participate in the on-boarding and early development of technicians.
• Performs Technician job duties as needed
  • High school diploma/equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience; 1 year of sanitation experience minimum
  • Minimum of 1 year Leadership experience;
  • Ability to provide daily direction and coaching.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Math skills
  • PIT experience and ability to obtain PIT license and operate PIT equipment such as forklifts and manlifts
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Understanding of and experience with cleaning chemicals, usage and interactions
  • Ability to work occasionally at heights of up to 30 feet
  • Ability to walk and stand during the work shift while frequently lifting weights up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to maneuver around equipment, climb stairs, and climb ladders to access varies equipment and infrastructure areas.
