This position reports directly to the Principal Culinary Training and Development Manager and will facilitate and instruct our employee learning program Flavor University. This includes executing relevant, educational curriculum and training, plus hands-on culinary programs and demonstrations virtually and in-person at McCormick’s Global Headquarters. These efforts will significantly enhance customer and employee awareness and knowledge of McCormick’s products, quality story, Passion for Flavor and leading position as a global flavor company.



  • Leads and coordinates the planning, preparation, and execution of customer, consumer and employee classes, events and demonstrations.
  • Actively participates as a culinary expert and resource supporting McCormick family of brands in the development of engaging consumer-relevant recipes, tips and content to support Flavor University.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of on-trend flavors.
  • Execute and develop consumer focused recipes using McCormick products.
  • Supports Culinary Sales efforts through preparation of products for demonstration to retailers to aid in the sell-in process of new products, competitive cuttings, or trend demonstrations.
  • Ensures correct storage, prep and service procedures and maintains all workstations and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary conditions.
  • Assist with directing and performing in video shoots – from “hands and pans” and talent faced videos.



  • Associate's and/or BS Degree in Culinary, Culinary Nutrition, Food Science or closely related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of food service, restaurant or other food related experience.
  • Experience with culinary demonstration, preparation and presentation.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • A high level of ethics, professionalism, and the ability to represent McCormick in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions using own discretion.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).



  • Willingness and ability to travel for business as needed
  • Culinary teaching or training experience
  • Experience in development of recipes, products and content for consumer-focused business.
  • Experience directing video shoots and working in post-production editing
