POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Creative Campaign Manager is responsible for the development and execution of creative used in strategic marketing campaigns for McCormick’s consumer business – inclusive of brands like Frank’s, Cholula, French’s and more. This role will provide creative thought leadership while bringing cross functional partners and agencies together to ensure work is consistent across regions, channels and audiences. This role owns the relationship with external agencies, as well as the communication with business teams, internal studios and other key stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Creative Strategy Development: Work with external agencies and the internal studio to bring to life on-brief creative ideas and platforms that can be turned into stimuli and used in testing. Work with insights teams to refine work based on learnings.
  • Integrated Marketing Plan Delivery: Lead cross-functionally to deliver the right creative in the right place – inclusive of paid, owned and earned channels. Work should be on brand, on time and on budget.
  • Agency Management: Scope out and manage budgets with external agencies. Provide concise briefings and appropriate creative feedback.
  • Campaign Process Management: Ensure correct campaign development and execution process is followed to meet agreed upon timelines; ensure feedback is received by partners such as regulatory.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and unlock growth opportunities for team of 1-2 creative specialists. Provide clear goals that ladder back up to team goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 8+ years related professional experience in marketing, agency experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience running integrated marketing campaigns for large consumer brands
  • People management experience
  • Comfortable with data analysis and reporting
  • Experience briefing and managing creative agencies and internal studios
  • Experience managing budgets with external vendors
  • Experience delivering creative assets to media agencies
