We are looking to hire a  District Manager immediately in Cincinnati /Northern KY or Tennessee Primary (Secondary St. Louis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Oklahoma City or other Midwest Area)

POSITION OVERVIEW

This District Manager will primarily be responsible for the achievement of district sales objectives and specific volume goals through execution of account plans and brand strategies as well as a laser focus on distribution gaining within the independent retailers.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement – Local contact and broker manager for meetings with retailer groups.
  • Shelf / POG compliance working with broker partners and McCormick retail team
  • Support contract updates and be engaged in negotiation process
  • Lead retail execution collaboration with customer and McCormick retail team
  • New Items execution plan and distribution tracking
  • Project Work – identified and assigned by CBM or Director
  • Support Broker & CBM with promo plans, CLBPs, and internal requests for information fostering engagement with internal sales
  • TPM promotion & forecasting assistance as well as Holiday pre-pack sales & forecasting
  • Overnight travel may be required.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • 3 years of Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Category Management or related field.
  • 1 year experience with customer or broker interface.
  • Knowledge of procedures and concepts within the sales process.
  • An understanding of how district sales roll-up to Zone, Region, Division and Company OGSM’s.
  • Understands industry sector and competitive landscape. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Valid drivers license.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of syndicated data
  • Knowledge of McCormick products
  • Knowledge of AWG affiliated independent retail groups
