We are looking to hire a Director, Americas Business Planning & Performance to join the team based at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The position is hybrid eligible (50% onsite per month).

Position Summary:

The Director, Americas Business Planning & Performance leads Business Planning and Performance for the divisions in the $5.0B Americas business. This includes business performance and delivery of the divisional calls across North America, IBP Process Support, and leading Monthly and Quarterly Executive Business Review Processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Performance Enablement & Insights:  Plays lead role in Commercial IBP Process; Responsible for driving cross divisional performance visibility and expanded scorecarding.  Responsible for Continuous Process Improvement of Commercial Planning and Reporting. 
  • Executive Business Review Leadership: Leads development of Quarterly & Monthly Executive Business Reviews
  • Strategic Planning:  Responsible for facilitating and driving recommendations for divisional resource choices including close cross functional partnership for Portfolio roles, LTP strategy & resource allocation (capital, capacity, SC investment, sales prioritization, spend prioritization)
  • External Investor Support: Partners in shaping the narrative on reporting of divisional results for investor relations
  • Team Leadership & Talent Management: Manages a team of analysts inclusive of Goal development and performance management. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years demonstrated success business management and/or finance with proven team leadership and employee management and development skills.
  • Leader of interdisciplinary direct team and collaborative leadership across cross department teams.
  • Ability to synthesize data across diverse data sets and drive a cohesive divisional strategy to achieve the goals of the division and individual teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communications including ability to lead in communication across commercial, technical, and corporate teams.
  • History of high performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think and act innovatively.
  • Demonstrates a bias toward action and communication.
  • Ability to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.
  • MBA (preferred)
  • Consumer Package Goods Industry Experience Preferred

 

Base Salary: $140,610-253,080

 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
