We are looking to hire a Director of Inclusion to join the team based at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The position is hybrid eligible (50% onsite per month).

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of Inclusion will co-create and lead global and regional strategies that advance a culture of inclusion, respect, and engagement across McCormick.
Reporting to the Vice President – Global Chief Employee Experience & Inclusion Officer, this role will partner with C-suite leaders, business executives, HR, functional teams, and Employee Resource Groups to embed inclusive practices across the enterprise.
The Director will serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader, ensuring alignment between inclusion priorities and McCormick’s purpose, vision, and business objectives. The role will also oversee the measurement and reporting of progress, driving accountability and continuous improvement globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a key member of regional and global leadership teams to operationalize the inclusion strategy in alignment with business and people priorities.
- Develop and implement global inclusion strategies and action plans for key stakeholders.
- Advise and coach senior executives and HR leaders on inclusion practices and their impact on business results.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing leadership and guidance on complex, global inclusion & equity matters.
Culture and Employee Experience
- Partner with the Employee Experience team to embed inclusion principles across the employee lifecycle.
- Champion a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility across all levels of the organization.
- Integrate inclusive and equitable practices into talent management processes related to attraction, development, promotion, and retention.
Measurement and Accountability
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress and impact, leveraging data analytics and insights to drive measurable outcomes.
- Communicate progress transparently to internal and external stakeholders.
Capability Building
- Design and/or deliver inclusion learning and development strategies or programs for employees and leaders globally.
- Lead or co-lead global, regional, and functional Inclusion Councils to drive alignment and accountability.
Employee Resource Groups and External Engagement
- Provide leadership and governance for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and member development.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, experts, and organizations.
- Represent McCormick in external forums, partnerships, and speaking engagements to advance the company’s inclusion & belonging reputation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience developing and implementing global or regional inclusion strategies, programs and initiatives in a complex, multinational organization.
- Proven success as an inclusion thought leader advising C-suite and senior executives on being accountable for integrating inclusion into business strategy.
- Demonstrated expertise on inclusion and equity principles and practices, compliance implications, with a track record of measurable impact.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with experience building collaborative partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and insights to drive strategic decision-making and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience sponsoring and providing governance for Employee Resource Groups.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Base Salary: $140,610-253,080
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
