FINANCE INTERN - MBA

This is a 10-week internship which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. POSITION OVERVIEW: Our goal for the Finance MBA intern is to provide an incredible experience showing what it is like to be at McCormick full time. The Finance MBA Intern will report directly into a Finance leader and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross functional teams on exciting projects. This position will provide a meaningful opportunity to learn the ‘nuts & bolts’ aspect of finance and fiscal responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead one or more projects that will require you to deep-dive into our business and showcase critical thinking while problem solving to deliver insights that will impact the business.

• Collaborate with different levels of management across businesses or functions to seek opportunities for innovation or growth.

• Special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current enrollment in an MBA program with expected graduation in Dec 2024 or Spring 2025

• Have a minimum of two years of professional experience prior to enrolling in MBA program.

• Strong academic background

• Desire to pursue a career in Finance.

• Proven strong financial analysis skills; demonstrated ability to complete quantitative or qualitative analysis, financial and/or valuation models.

• Exceptional leadership skills and experience driving change in an organization.

• Strong analytic orientation, capable of performing data analysis and creating stories out of data sets.

• Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, and show strong selfmotivation and initiative.

• Strong technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
