POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT OT Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to the four geographical regions to effectively develop, implement and support McCormick’s IT OT Cybersecurity Program. This position will support global teams to ensure they are trained and in compliance with the program as well assist in the resolution of IT OT vulnerabilities and issues as they arise. The position will report to the Global Engineering Standards Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development and leadership of overall IT OT Cybersecurity Program and Strategy
- Lead the governance of a global cross functional team of IT and OT (engineering/maintenance) resources to develop overall program and strategy including standards, policies, procedures, training, KPIs, metrics, etc. as well as work to remediate current issues and gaps.
- Monitor and publish program metrics as well as progress on overall IT OT Cybersecurity remediation plans.
- Work with a cross functional team to address IT OT Cybersecurity pain points and issues, leading teams to resolve them collaboratively, quickly, and effectively
- Ensure all sites follow the IT OT Cybersecurity program.
- Continuously identify areas of improvement and adjust program accordingly
- Monitor future direction of industry, technology, threats and adjust program accordingly
- Proactively work with global sites to build IT OT Cybersecurity capabilities of the team by: Working with the T&D teams, develop and provide best in class training to IT/OT resources.
- Coaching and working with staff to incorporate cybersecurity practices in all OT design work.
- Assisting sites to comply with overall program, policies, and standards
- Support IT OT Projects to ensure compliance with the IT OT Cybersecurity Program: Work with engineering project teams to ensure all new equipment or systems comply with program, policies, and standards
- Assist in the digitalization journey of the factory by suggesting and implementing latest technologies available on the market and contributing to define the capabilities requirements linked to global roadmaps and vision
- Lead efforts to address IT OT vulnerabilities and issues as they arise. Lead the resolution of any OT related vulnerabilities.
- Assist in remediation efforts in the event of an OT security event
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in electrical/computer/electronics engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience with automation controls network design/programming along with implementation of IT OT systems.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and influence across functions and across levels of the organization. - Ability to work with external consultants - Ability to collaborate across different regions globally. Ability to build diverse, inclusive teams to drive innovation and business results. - Ability to lead significant culture change through strong people change management, which includes ability to coach and develop others in leadership and technical competency. - Ability to proactively lead and coach teams to solve advanced problems and deliver continuous improvement initiatives. - Ability to analyze complex information to make judgments
- Experience in the manufacturing environment both with packaging and processing systems - Experience with managing engineering projects - Experience with implementing and leading change on the manufacturing floor, training in change management is an asset - Experience with Rockwell and Siemens network communication protocols as well as automation equipment programming - Experience with the implementation, configuration, and setup of IT OT shopfloor systems such as data collection, asset management, thin clients, MES, and SCADA systems - Experience with OT network segmentation concepts - Base level of knowledge of IT concepts, equipment, and systems such as VLANs, firewalls, VMs, IP addressing, DNS, subnets, and network security fundamentals - Cross-functional program and/or project management experience Technical documentation - Knowledge of and ability to maintain technical documentation and drawings AutoCAD - Ability to work with AutoCAD to make drawing modifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Eng in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a High-Performance Organization.
- Experence working in a CPG company.
