McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a part-time International Trade Compliance Co-Op Intern located at 24 Schilling Road, Hunt Valley, MD. This hybrid temporary position requires 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday for 6 months with the potential of extending to 1 year.

Reporting to Head International Trade Compliance Americas, the hybrid temporary intern will work with the ITC team to support various procedures and projects to ensure compliance with U.S. Government and U.S. import and export regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Support international trade process
- Provide support services to our internal customers
- Collection, verification, and maintenance of trade information (vendor declarations)
- 3rd party screening and electronic filing of Export documentation on Global trade System
- Creating origin documents
- Assist with product registration
- Update Trade documentation as required
- Assist with Audits
- Other miscellaneous duties
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4 year undergraduate program as Sophomore, or Junior.
- Majoring in Business, International Trade, Food Science or Legal
- Strong analytic orientation/capable of performing data analysis
- Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, and show strong self-motivation and initiative
- Demonstrated organization and planning skills with ability to handle details
- Strong computer skills are a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office 365 (strong excel skills preferred)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Detail oriented and good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Curiosity for learning about diverse cultures, the food industry and the legal profession (preferred)
