McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Marketing Intern in Hunt Valley, Maryland located at the Corporate Global Headquarters.  This is a 10-week internship (June 2 - August 8, 2025) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Marketing at McCormick & Co., Inc. is more than just creating advertisements.  We are a foodservice brand management team with P&L responsibility for our categories to include spices, herbs, seasonings, condiments and sauces. We are a team that develops deep brand connections with our customers and their food away from home patrons.  As an intern, you'll get exposure to business-critical projects while working with cross functional team members in product management, customer marketing, sales, sales planning, finance, and even culinary chefs.  You will learn the foodservice channel, its value chain, how to pull and analyze insights from eCommerce platforms and marry those insights with the Branded Flavor Solutions portfolio offerings to drive incremental product demand.  A successful candidate will be willing to have a natural curiosity to identify underleveraged opportunities to drive positive business results with the ability to engage and influence a diverse group of thinkers.

 

Job Description:

  • Lead in the growth of the McCormick Foodservice portfolio via eCommerce channels, such as Amazon and Webstaurant, through:
    • Identifying areas of opportunities for growth through business analytics
    • Partnering with Product Managers and Agency Partners to develop digital content to enhance McCormick for Chef’s presence on eCommerce platforms
    • Partnering with Agency Partner to understand growth opportunities for paid search & SEO
    • Working closely with Product Managers, Customer Marketing and Sales to develop synergized marketing campaigns across channels that align with long term plans.
  • Other projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program with degree completion between December 2026 - June 2027
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems
  • Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

 

Based Hourly Range: $20/hr. - $25/hr

 

Base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
