We are looking to hire an Order to Cash Global Delivery Lead  immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

 

Order to Cash Global Delivery Lead will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of designated O2C end-to-end processes, including Customer Order Solutions, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Risk. The role will lead a global team of more than 200 employees across North America, Latin America, EMEA and India. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, improve process performance, resolve service delivery issues, and ensure strong customer experience for both internal and external customers.

 

This is a senior global leadership role requiring strong financial, operational and process leadership capability, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders across functions, regions and levels of the organization. The O2C GDL will manage relationships with key business stakeholders, controllership, internal audit, and central capabilities teams, overseeing the credit & risk management assessment process for external customers & vendors.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Leading a global team of more than 200 employees across Customer Order Solutions, Accounts Receivable, and Credit & Risk.
  • Driving “Best in Class” performance across the O2C organization.
  • Delivering annual business objectives, including:
    • Perfect Order Fulfillment
    • Customer Intimacy
    • Cost Optimization
    • Risk Management
    • Process Standardization
  • Establishing, delivering and monitoring key performance indicators, service targets and performance metrics.
  • Communicating operational performance to key business stakeholders.
  • Optimizing end-to-end processes to improve efficiency, including through automation and standardization.
  • Identifying and implementing new service opportunities.
  • Providing input to, and operating within, operational budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Identifying service delivery issues and developing remediation plans to address persistent challenges.
  • Ensuring consistent application of accounting policies, standards and internal controls for transactions and account reconciliations within the Order to Cash team.
  • Managing relationships with key business stakeholders, controllership, internal audit and central capabilities teams.
  • Overseeing the credit and risk management assessment process for external customers and vendors.
  • Managing, motivating and developing team members to build high-performing talent, succession depth and diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Promoting a culture focused on excellent customer experience for both internal and external customers.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading and growing a global client, service or customer-oriented function involving transformational initiatives and processes across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Direct experience in continuous improvement and/or delivery of multiple, complex projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within Order to Cash business processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry best practices across Order to Cash.
  • Broad knowledge of financial management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, warehousing and distribution.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end processes with insourced and outsourced/service management components.
  • Strategic and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to drive execution and deliver results.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, with the ability to build credibility and confidence with customers and employees.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence, galvanize and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong ability to identify root causes behind process issues, develop creative solutions and execute remediation plans.
  • Knowledge of SAP and key applications supporting core O2C processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA.
  • CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Experience in Global Business Services or shared services environments.
  • Experience with finance process automation.
  • Experience in ERP or finance transformation initiatives.

 

We are open to candidates coming from Supply Chain leadership backgrounds, particularly where they bring deep experience in end-to-end process management, transformation and cross-functional stakeholder leadership and express strong commercial and financial acumen.

Base Salary: $192,000.00 - 326,500.00 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
