We are looking to hire an Operations & Administrative Analyst immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Summary:

The Operations & Administrative Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operational support for the Global Marketing Leadership Team. This role will manage purchase orders, assist with budget tracking and financial reporting, and provide administrative coordination.  This role is a critical position to keep our marketing teams running smoothly, ensure our marketing and research investments deliver maximum impact and empower leaders to focus on strategy and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end purchase order process, from creation to reconciliation, to ensure vendor partnerships run seamlessly. Maintain clear, accurate financial records to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Track budgets and expenses, providing timely, actionable financial reports. Identify trends, flag risks, and highlight opportunities to optimize spend.
  • Support on-site event coordination.
  • Other operational or administrative tasks as assigned by the leader

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical diploma preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in  administrative, purchasing, or finance-related roles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and able to adopt to changes
  • Familiarity with budget tracking and financial reporting best practices.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., Ariba).
  • Experience working with Marketing or Consumer Insight teams in a corporate environment (preferred).

Base Salary:  $63,250 - $110,680

 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
