Position Overview:

As a Controls Engineer, you will be working in a manufacturing environment, supporting and managing improvement projects and activities on our process and packaging equipment. You’ll work using different types of PLC, HMI, and VFDs and work closely with our manufacturing and operations teams. The types of equipment you’ll be working on are blending, processing, and packaging machines that process the spices and extracts that you likely use in your own home.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer

• 5 to 10 years of relevant production and/or engineering in a manufacturing plant. 

• Knowledge of industrial controls equipment, including PCs, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, field instrumentation, vision systems, and industrial communication devices/protocols
• Knowledge of manufacturing/production metrics such as OEE, DPM, etc.
• Experience with TPM, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement systems preferred
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred
