Position Overview

Reporting to the Regional Benefits Manager, the Regional Benefits Analyst II will be a subject matter expert on regional benefits plans, processes and procedures execution. Evaluate the operational efficiency of regional benefits plans and identify process improvement opportunities. Serve as a lead in benefit related projects and initiatives and ensure compliance of all regional benefit plans from a systems perspective.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive analytical support for plan changes, acquisitions, and annual enrollment through analysis of data requirements and system specifications. Represent NA Benefits team on a variety of compensation and benefits projects, activities and continuous improvement initiatives, requiring collaboration among various stakeholders such as McCormick People Solutions, Total Rewards COE, and HRBP’s
  • Execute processes and procedures for accurate delivery of benefit plans and programs within region. Exercise judgment to appropriately resolve complex queries raised though AskHR portal for example, claim issues and benefit plan deduction discrepancies
  • Evaluate, identify, design, document, and implement solutions to benefit operations processes, systems, and data transmittal to drive improved accuracy, consistency of outputs, and efficiency. Lead employee benefits education and communication for new hires, acquisitions and annual open enrollment
  • Collaborate with accounting and auditors (internal and external) on quarterly accruals, reconciliations and annual audit processes.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Finance, HR, or related field
  • 3-5 years of HR or benefits experience
  • 1-2 years of managing projects or participating in project teams in collaborative work teams
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering services / providing advisory to others
  • Preferred experience with multicultural and/or with remote customers
  • Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange complicated information. 'Complicated' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Strong understanding of regional benefits programs.
  • Have knowledge of regulations governing benefit plan design and administration.
  • Ability to analyze and organize and provide insights due to complex benefits programs.
  • Requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of information.
