International Regulatory Affairs Analyst III

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide Regulatory Affairs support to strategic global business projects with focus on new and emerging business opportunities (e.g., export, e-commerce). This includes product compliance reviews, risk assessments, and engaging and collaborating with our global regulatory and business partners. This position will create and contribute to regulatory processes and positions that support and enable business growth as well as process improvement to drive efficiencies. Support regional business opportunities as required.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct assessments and reviews as driven by stakeholder requests, follow up actions, or issues.
  • Provide global regulatory support and analysis to strategic global business projects, new and emerging business opportunities. 
  • Conduct and support global regulatory risk assessments and escalation process. 
  • Ensure consistent development and use of global risk assessment processes and tools. 
  • Provide regulatory support to the Global Claims Review Board.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or closely related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience in Regulatory, QA, PD or Packaging. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory or quality information such as nutrition, ingredient statements, religious certification, product labeling, assembly and product specifications or inspection plans.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with changing deadlines and priorities.Knowledge of enterprise system (DevEx, SAP preferred). Demonstrated advanced knowledge MS office. Demonstrated ability to collect, translate, store, analyze and deploy data. Knowledge of regulatory and operational requirements and compliance. Demonstrated knowledge of area of specialization, category, region, or international requirements.
  • Knowledge of concepts and procedures in other functions and how their work relates to or impacts other areas of the business. Understands how work of self and function impacts the bottom line, objectives and goals. Ability to effectively apply applicable regulations and industry standards to products.
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to influence at peer level and potentially above.
  • Detail orientied with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced environment.Daily interactions with many internal functions for information and project activities.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Food Law / Joint Institute Food Safety Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN)
