McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Sales Intern Summer 2023 in Hunt Valley, Maryland located at 24 Schilling Road. This is a 10-week internship (June 2023 - August 2023) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

As part of the Strategic Business Management team, you’ll contribute to building the future of sales strategy for the McCormick Branded Food Service organization. As a leader across spices, seasonings, condiments and more, we are responsible for identifyingthe strategic path to growth and enabling activation with our sales team. Through this internship, you'll get exposure to business-critical projects, data analysis and strategy development, and personal and team leadership opportunities, while working with cross functional team members in sales, marketing, finance, supply chain and even culinary chefs. A successful candidate will have anatural curiosity, willingness to learn, and the ability to engage and influence a diverse group of colleagues – all to drive positive business results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the development and delivery of business analysis and sales strategy related projects to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with strategic business management leadership and team to ensure effective communication, project deliveredon time and in full and future execution of project recommendations.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and other cross functional partners to identify category landscape and business opportunities.
  • Other projects as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program (Sophomore, Junior or Senior)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolveproblems
  • Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
