Position Summary:
The Senior Creative Manager (US) is responsible for overseeing the in-house production of high-quality creative assets for McCormick’s portfolio of brands across the US region. Key responsibilities include creative leadership, managing creative workflows, mentoring and upskilling team members, maintaining brand consistency, and ideating/presenting big ideas & creative concepts to stakeholders and clients. This role requires a blend of creative innovation, project oversight, concepting expertise, and effective communication to drive successful delivery of content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership: Lead ideation and concepting for big ideas and drive meaningful storytelling for projects and campaigns, ensuring they deliver business impact. Consult on and help optimize creative and design briefs to ensure alignment with brand strategy and creative inspiration.
- Project Oversight: Manage the creative process, from ideation/concept and planning/production to execution and delivery, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets. Ensure all creative materials and messaging align with brand identities and overall business goals. Oversee and manage creative budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor creative teams, guiding their work and fostering the growth of emerging creative talent.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, brand, and digital experience teams to align creative efforts with broader organizational objectives. Present creative concepts, project updates, and performance results to internal leadership.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement creative solutions and approaches, continuously improving workflows and driving innovation.
- Trend and Innovation Scouting
- Quality Control and Brand Governance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in art, design, visual communication, marketing or relevant experience
- 8+ years’ creative direction experience
- 5+ years leading teams of creative specialists
- 3+ Demonstrated relevant skills and results in creative ideation for consumer packaged goods industry
- Experience formulating recommendations based on consumer research

- Proficiency in Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience working on CPG brands (preferred)

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
