Position Overview
The Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Transformation supports the execution of initiatives that drive efficiency, automation, and modernization across Finance functions—including FP&A, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Transformation, this role plays a critical part in supporting program management, project execution, and change enablement efforts across the transformation portfolio.
The Senior Finance Analyst will assist in maintaining the Finance Transformation roadmap, track progress of initiatives, and contribute to key deliverables including stakeholder communications, reporting packages, and project updates. This role will collaborate closely with Finance and cross-functional teams and may independently lead smaller-scale workstreams or provide tactical support for high-priority initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and a proactive mindset in driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Program & Project Management Support – Support the maintenance of the Finance Transformation roadmap, including tracking of initiatives, status updates, benefits realization, and resource allocation. Help coordinate meetings, prepare updates for pillar leadership and FLT steering committee reviews, and support documentation across workstreams. Maintain and update project trackers and dashboards in coordination with the Senior Manager to ensure program visibility and alignment. Assist in governance activities by tracking risks, milestones, and interdependencies across initiatives.
• Project Execution & Tactical Support – Provide analytical and process support for individual projects; conduct financial modeling, process evaluation, and testing of new models or tools. Where appropriate, independently lead workstreams or small-scale initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with transformation goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and optimization strategies.
• Reporting & Storytelling for Transformation Initiatives – Develop clear, data-driven reporting and presentation materials that highlight project progress, risks, and outcomes. Contribute to the preparation of visual dashboards and written materials to support senior leadership engagement and decision-making. Help standardize and streamline how project updates are communicated across audiences.
• Business Partnership & Industry Awareness – Build working relationships with key Finance sub-function and cross-functional stakeholders to understand priorities and inform initiative design and execution. Conduct research on Finance Transformation trends and tools to support benchmarking, recommendations, and continuous improvement. Participate in conversations to provide insight into how transformation efforts can better meet internal stakeholder needs.
• Change Management Support – Partner with the Change Management team to support communication and training activities that promote adoption of new processes and technologies. Develop stakeholder communications, training guides, and engagement materials aligned with change timelines. Reinforce a culture of continuous improvement through effective storytelling and messaging.
Secondary Responsibilities
• Tool & Template Development – Assist in the creation and refinement of standardized tools, templates, and documentation to improve consistency and efficiency across transformation initiatives.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing – Support knowledge transfer by maintaining reference materials, contributing to team training sessions, and documenting best practices for use across Finance Teams.
• Ad Hoc Analysis & Executive Support – Perform targeted analysis or develop materials in support of executive-level discussions, Finance Leadership Team (FLT) updates, or special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Level of Education and Discipline BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen 5+ years of progressive experience within Finance function. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and basic proficiency of Power Pt & Word required. Strong analytical, communication and organization skills required. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines. Maintains knowledge of the McCormick businesses, it's processes and the industry in which it operates through attendance at company training programs, etc. Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and latest trends through ongoing research
Interpersonal Skills - leadership, interactions, communication, influence Ability to take initiative and work independently. Communication of Complex Information - Good communication and diplomacy skills required in order to exchange complicated or sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of content or intended audience. Good interpersonal, problem solving, financial analysis and communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen SAP/BW/TM1 experience is desirable.
Knowledge of top trends in Finance Technology.

The Senior Finance Analyst, Finance Transformation supports the execution of the Finance Transformation roadmap and key initiatives that drive change across the Finance function. The role contributes to program management, reporting, and project execution, providing analytical and tactical support to advance strategic priorities. The position requires strong collaboration across Finance and cross-functional teams and may independently lead smaller workstreams. The Analyst is expected to maintain awareness of industry trends and support the implementation of best practices that enhance Finance operations.

Base Salary: $86,390 to $151,220
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
