McCormick & Company, Inc., a global leader in the spice, flavor, and seasonings industry, is seeking a full-time Senior Manager of Global Talent Management.  This new hire will work in a hybrid capacity at our location in Hunt Valley, MD. The Senior Manager of Global Talent Management will report to a Director of Global Talent Management.

The Senior Manager of Global Talent Management designs, and implements talent management solutions and programs to support global objectives that reinforce the mission. Coordinate efforts to ensure that talent management and development initiatives are developed and managed using a data-driven focus to set priorities that are aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.

The Senior Manager simultaneously executes and manages multiple complex and high-to-medium impact projects that have global and regional, long-range organizational reach. The position is central in the influence of senior leaders to support and drive compliance across all functions and regions globally.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively contributes to the execution of the Global Talent Strategy by managing chosen projects, processes, initiatives in areas of performance management, talent identification, development and promotion, onboarding
  • Develops, manages, and executes global talent projects in alignment with strategic HR priorities. Projects range from program development, key-stakeholder influence, design, execution, and ROI analytics/measurement
  • Consults with business and HR leaders to understand and anticipate their needs and ensure alignment of Talent initiatives with global priorities
  • Contributes to the integration of Talent and Learning to ensure consistent approach to designed solutions and employee experience. If needed acts as an internal global facilitator for selected training
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform talent process improvements and targeted leadership development
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the talent management system, including actively proposing potential improvements
  • Research and assist in the development of Talent Management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.
  • Selects and manages external vendors, contractors, manages the budget.
  • Acts as the process owner for Learning Budgeting, Forecasting and Control.
  • Works in close collaboration with HR Technology Team and Learning Team to ensure best in class experience for our employees

CANDIDATE PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Education, Organisational Development or Psychology or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in talent management area or HR business partnering with an exposure on talent management
  • Proven track of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects for high business impact
  • Experience in developing and executing improvement projects with broad scope and reach
  • Innovative approach to managed projects and processes
  • Knowledge of current and future trends in managing and developing talent
  • Experience in working with data, high analytical skills
  • Excellent Business Partner – able to identify and address business needs
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, both stakeholders and team members
