We are looking to hire a Sr. Associate Product Manager II immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This Sr. Associate Product Manager II is supporting McCormick’s cornerstone business of Spice, seasoning and extracts.  This role is primarily responsible for performance reporting and commercializing new product offers to accelerate growth in the Club and Ecomm channels.   These are fast paced channels and we are seeking individuals with sense of urgency, bias for action with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monthly business reporting to identify insights and opportunities for growth
  • Make recommendations relating to competitive analysis, trade management, customer and consumer communications.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to commercialize new products or renovations
  • Make recommendations to leadership for new product and renovation positioning choices (price, size, promotion, packaging)
  • Manage product life-cycle including, new product business case development, pricing strategy, commercial strategy through to execution
  • Prepare compelling customer selling materials from samples to presentations, demo and digital content
  • Deliver recommendations to leadership.
  • Support the execution of the Club and Ecomm 3 Year innovation pipeline for Spice & Seasonings with day-to-day project management, including brief writing and coordination of package design reviews and product tastings


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, or related field required
  • 1-2 years of consumer products experience with ability to manage multiple segments
  • High sense of urgency and bias for action
  • High personal accountability to manage daily work plan to deliver priorities
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Exposure to and some experience in Brief Writing for Research and Graphics Design
  • Good understanding of syndicated retail data analysis, financial analysis and business planning
  • Good written, communication, and presentation skills

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA
  • Experience leading cross functional teams is preferred.

Base Salary:  $74,330 - $130,080

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
