We are looking to hire a Sr. Brand (Product) Manager for Finishings and Toppers  immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview

The Senior Product/Brand Manager, McCormick Finishing & Toppers, is responsible for the development of McCormick’s new finishing segment within the Spices & Extracts category, targeting $50M over the next 3-5 years, as well as the existing Toppers business. Responsibilities include product development (innovation platform, licensing partnerships, limited time offers), creation of marketing campaigns to drive education and consumer usage, business forecasting and analysis of opportunities and risks, consumer research to drive insights, and long-term planning and strategy. This role will need to drive new processes and ways of working throughout the organization to enable agile growth, including support for capital investment to enable production.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Growth Projects on Workplan: Lead development and execution of new product development efforts with significant impact to total SPICE 2026 growth plan. 
  • Develop Marketing Campaigns: Drive consumer education and awareness alongside product launch plan
  • Forecasting & Monthly Business Review: Drive accurate shipment expectations to enable efficient production plans and avoid IAR, including capturing opportunities and risks. Analyze business drivers and trends for monthly business review.
  • Long Term Planning and Strategy: Create sufficient pipeline for growth, understanding the external landscape and emergence of new trends.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years of marketing and/or sales experience with demonstrated results in consumer-packaged goods brand management, finance, promotional activities and consumer communications.
  • Experience with MS office suite with functional proficiency.
  • Position requires strong financial and business acumen and excellent leadership skills.
  • Must be able to lead cross functional teams, with an emphasis on P&L management.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in analysis and recommendation communication.
  • Key relationships with sales, marketing services, supply chain, product development, and finance.
  • Developed communication & diplomacy skills required to guide, influence & convince others, and to proactively communicate project gaps with proposed insights on gap.
  • Collaboration. Must work well with others. Can hold others accountable effectively without negatively impacting working relationship.
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience navigating and influencing within McCormick and/or company of similar size and/or structure.

Base Salary: $103,520 - $181,150

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
