We are looking to hire a Sr. Finance Analyst, Supply Chain Finance immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview:
The Global Supply Chain Finance (SCF) senior analyst provides reporting and analysis to further leadership’s understanding of actual financial performance and support the annual planning processes (forecast, budget and long-term plan). This position provides McCormick’s Global End-to-End Supply Chain reporting, financial analyses, interpretations, and key metric reporting to leadership. In addition, this role will be responsible for supporting global SCF processes and process improvement projects, directly supporting the Global VP of Supply Chain Finance.
Responsibilities:
• Consolidate and analyze McCormick Global Supply Chain End-to-End results throughout forecast, budget, long term plan and Actuals cycles working closely with the Global VP Supply Chain Finance, Regional and Global SC Finance Directors and all supply chain finance business partners (including Regional SC Finance CoE teams)
• Assembling, analyzing, and presenting information as part of the Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Budget, Forecast and LTP reviews
• Work closely with regional finance team to understand business drivers for all forecasts, budget, and quarterly cycles.
• Bridging of actual results to forecast, budget and prior year, as applicable, ensuring all major COGS and Distribution components are properly recorded and adequately explained and communicated.
• Participating actively in projects and ad-hoc analysis/questions related to global Supply Chain Finance, inclusive of the following global initiatives, such as Supply Chain’s Central Charges, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and margin improvement related initiatives (i.e. CPU, Yield, SLOB, Supply Chain CCI consolidation, amongst others)
• Continually standardizing and optimizing Global SCF processes/reporting across
• Develop slides for the Global SC Finance Forecast process, highlighting drivers of business results.
• Compile, report, and analyze complex data streams throughout various business cycles.
• Participate actively in projects and ad-hoc analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Data Science, Business/Economics, Accounting or an MBA
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis required
- Experience participating in projects, supporting finance initiatives with the business, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Experience with Power BI or any other data visualization tool preferred.
- Experience with transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to Hyperion, SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1 or other local systems preferred.
- Proven knowledge of financial accounting standards and GAAP required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities required.
- Demonstrated ability to make judgments based on analysis of factual information, practice and previous experience/reasonable assumptions required.
- Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communications skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures and interact with all levels of the organization required.
- Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self-starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems with incomplete and/or ambiguous information required and to proactively initiate action steps required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable required.

Base Salary: $86,390 to $151,220
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
