We are looking to hire a Sr. Manager, Global Automation Delivery immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview:

The position drives the identification, assessment, and implementation of process automation globally within the organization. Leveraging process-driven, analytical, technical, and financial skills, the role creates and maintains automation solutions, leading the development efforts. Additionally, it defines and executes growth strategies, develops thought leadership, and advises on automation best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement processes for identifying and executing process transformation and automation opportunities, including related delivery methodologies, customer support, and governance models. This involves leading or participating in interviews, meetings, or workshops to design automation solutions.
  • Partner with global process owners, business stakeholders, and enabling functions to drive continuous improvement through automation.
  • Collaborate with enabling functions to implement, maintain, and manage automation technology within McCormick's system infrastructure while ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Manage use cases and roadmaps with external technology platform providers and develop engagement methodologies for the broader user community.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators for the success of automation opportunities, regularly publishing performance reports for executive, business leadership, and customer audiences.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Automation development or similar desktop automation software.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in AI, Automation, and Data Science.
  • Experience in developing and implementing automation technology based on functional requirements.
  • Proficiency in driving high-value insights for strategic growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner across different regions and functions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • Strong influencing, collaboration, negotiation, diplomacy, and partnering skills to drive the adoption of automation solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to perform deep analyses and summarize data and recommendations for senior management.
  • Exceptional executive-level presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to motivate and lead without formal authority, influencing outcomes and getting things done through others.
  • Technical knowledge of Data environments, transformation, models, and queries, with proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Manipulation, Data Modeling, Advanced Analytics, and Industry Knowledge.
