McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Engineering Summer Intern in Hunt Valley, MD located at 24 Schilling Rd.  This is a 10-week internship (June 1st, 2026 - August 7th, 2026) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Gain exposure to the production, logistics and distribution processes within McCormick by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, such as suppliers, production teams, and customer service, to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the supply chain. Assist in addressing any supply chain-related issues and supporting the resolution of operational challenges. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to gain exposure to different areas of the business.
  • Process & Program Standardization: Responsible for ensuring that all engineering processes are completely documented and implementing any changes to these processes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Project Alignment: Contribute to project supporting overall TPM and lean leadership guidance to all project stakeholders and collaborates with operations, engineering, reliability and plant leadership to deliver milestones on time and at rate.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization and proposing innovative solutions. Collaborate with teams to implement changes, monitor performance metrics, and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement efforts.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical) 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work full-time during the summer internship period.
