Tax Co-Op Student


McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Tax Co-Op Student  at the Global Corporate Headquarters located at 24 Schilling Road, Suite 1, Hunt Valley, Maryland.  This is a short term role which requires 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Reporting to the Tax Director, the Tax Co-Op will work in an office environment supporting various tax department functions.  Responsibilities include:

  • assistance in preparation of various supporting tax work-papers developing training materials and supporting training activities
  • reconciliation schedules
  • account analysis
  • basic tax returns
  • maintaining tax department comprehensive files



  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate college Sophomore or Junior for the 2023-2024 school year
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, and show strong self-motivation and initiative
  • Demonstrated organization and planning skills with ability to handle details
  • Strong organizational and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office applications

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
