We are looking to hire a eCommerce Business Intelligence Manager immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW

McCormick is seeking an eCommerce Business Intelligence Manager to lead the coordination, delivery, and evolution of our omnichannel and eCommerce reporting and insights platform. In this role, you will partner closely with technical BI (Business Intelligence) developers, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure our analytics and dashboards provide clear, actionable, and business-relevant insights that drive growth in digital channels.

 

This role is about connecting the dots, aligning stakeholders on the right metrics, ensuring data sources are accurate and relevant, and translating performance results into compelling business stories that influence decision-making. You will own the reporting calendar, guide the dashboard roadmap, and ensure that insights are delivered in a way that is clear, timely, and impactful for commercial teams and senior leadership.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Coordination & Dashboard Roadmap

  • Partner with BI developers, data engineers, and external vendors to ensure dashboards are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs.
  • Coordinate the dashboard development roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on stakeholder input and business priorities.
  • Align on definitions, KPIs, and metrics to ensure consistency across reports and dashboards.

Performance Reporting & Insights

  • Own the monthly and quarterly reporting process for eCommerce and omnichannel performance.
  • Track and communicate KPIs such as sales, paid search, conversion, traffic, profitability, and digital shelf health.
  • Identify drivers of performance and provide context and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with Finance to track and report eCommerce-specific financial performance and trends.

Business Analysis & Storytelling

  • Lead the development of clear, concise, and visually engaging presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Translate data into business narratives that connect results to strategy and commercial opportunities.

Digital Shelf & Content Insights

  • Partner with the eCommerce Syndication Manager to monitor and improve product detail page (PDP) performance and content compliance.
  • Use digital shelf analytics (DSA) tools (e.g., Profitero) to track availability, pricing, search visibility, and content health across retailers.
  • Provide recommendations to improve digital shelf execution and drive conversion.

Stakeholder Engagement & Digital IQ Development

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on eCommerce metrics and reporting needs.
  • Lead sessions to increase Digital IQ across commercial teams, ensuring stakeholders understand the “why” behind the numbers.
  • Create easy-to-use reporting templates and guides to enable self-service insights.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce analytics, category management, sales planning, or performance reporting.
  • Strong experience in interpreting data and turning it into actionable business insights.
  • Proven ability to present findings to senior leadership in a clear and compelling way.
  • Understanding of eCommerce, omnichannel retail, and digital shelf metrics.
  • Experience working with BI dashboards (Power BI experience preferred) in partnership with technical teams.
  • E Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build strong partnerships to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing stakeholders through trust, authenticity, and clear communication tailored to the audience.
  • Track record of owning deliverables and holding self and others accountable for accuracy, timeliness, and business relevance.
  • Experience with digital shelf analytics tools (Profitero preferred).
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build strong partnerships to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing stakeholders through trust, authenticity, and clear communication tailored to the audience.
  • Track record of owning deliverables and holding self and others accountable for accuracy, timeliness, and business relevance.

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with web analytics and retail media performance data.
  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources (Circana, NielsenIQ, Edge by Ascential).
  • Experience coordinating analytics projects across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex data for a non-technical audience.

Base Salary: $87,910 - $153,870.

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
