KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Responsibilities of this position include provides leadership to team members.

-Responsible for managing raw material inventories and SLOB (Slow Moving Obsolete Inventory) goals. Responsible for inventory inbounding, practices and procedures along with suggesting new control measures and procedures to better insure inventory and accuracy. Responsible for collecting, maintain and distributing inventory records and related communications.

-Manage (SLOB) Slow Moving and Obsolote Inventory

-Manages and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.

-Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.

-Develops a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilize appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery and service.

-Oversees all activities related to procurements of a commodity, from intent to purchase through delivery of commodity.  

 

EXPERIENCE

-5+ years experience in Inventory/Material Control management

 

OTHER SKILLS & COMPENTENCIES

-Good math aptitude, analytical ability, ability to research data, ability to work independently without direct supervision. Ability to analyze and audit complex inventory transactions and related material flow.

-Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner to formulate strategies and drive results
