Overview:
- Role is accountable for maintaining inventory minimum levels, parts re-orders, parts receiving, purchasing and the restocking of parts.
- Capable of creating and managing purchase orders, acquiring quotes and managing lead times.
- Must poses the mechanical aptitude for identifying parts accurately and the utilization of a standardized naming nomenclature.
Key Roles:
- Maintaining inventory minimum levels, parts reorder, receiving, purchasing, kitting and restocking. Conduct quarterly inventory cycle counts and report accuracy.
- Clerical and accounting skills required, proficient in CMMS systems, SAP, Chase and Ariba.
- Requires excellent communication skills, must communicate with mechanics and managers
- Manages the creation of PO’s for the department and blanket PO’s for annual support agreements.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. AA degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years relevant manufacturing experience (warehouse, stock selection, inventory).
- Ability to perform basic math functions, with accurate clerical data entry skills.
- Ability to operate storeroom computer, using various software, including Chase, Maximo, SAP, Microsoft applications or knowledge of similar systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to work within and embrace a results focused, team-based HPO culture
- Ability to communicate professionally at all times.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with shift and work day assignments to support business needs

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
