Customer Account Manager

Turkey, İzmir Kemalpasa

 

 

We are looking for Customer Account Manager for our company which is located in Turkey/ İzmir Kemalpasa.

 

Account Manager role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts, develop new business from existing customers and actively seek for new sales opportunities.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports.
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and NPD, Technical, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations) to improve the entire customer experience.
  • Negotiate contracts and tenders to maximize profits
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities for McCormick.
  • Work closely with other Flavor solution teams across EMEA to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives / pricing etc.
  • Build forecast intelligence/ customer insight on customers through order history, communication, and relationships. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Ensure achievement of sales and profit targets (NSV and GM), effective management of customer P&L. Working closely with the internal business team to ensure the business delivers volume and profit aligned to McCormick strategy
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Handling Complexity - Ensure promotional plans are effectively executed within agreed budgets. Fully evaluate all promotional activity post execution for future investment and financial return
  • Ensure all activities are effectively planned and executed. Full planning activity via S&OP integrated into daily business planning & review
  • Avoid high levels of inventory and slow moving and obsolete stock through accurate order transactions and working cross functionally.
  • Assist customer service as and when needed.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role in FMCG including significant dealings with B2B
  • Strong financial/commercial understanding together with ability to interpret and manage P&L
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
  • Good communicator both verbal and written
  • Proven influencing and negotiation skills
  • Solid experience in MS Office and Presentations
